Spirit of Youth Awards Breakfast

Do you know someone who supports youth through the development, provision, and/or participation in youth programs and/or educational activities?
A youth who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to our community and has made extraordinary contributions?
If you know an outstanding youth or someone who makes a difference in the lives of youth, the Spirit of Youth Awards are an excellent way for you to recognize them and to let them know how much their efforts are appreciated.
On Saturday, September 30, 2017, Springettsbury Township will celebrate its 15th Annual Saturday in the Park event. Springettsbury Township has teamed up with Central York Communities That Care® Organization to bring you its Spirit of Youth Awards Breakfast! With this breakfast, we will celebrate our youth and their valuable contributions to our community, and adults who make a positive difference in the lives of youth. The breakfast will kick off Saturday in the Park at Springettsbury Township Park! Award recipients will be honored.
How do I nominate someone?
To nominate someone for an award, complete the nomination form and send it, along with information supporting your nomination to the address provided on the form.
What should I include with my nomination?
Remember that, while the nominated individual is well known to you, the Selection Committee may only know the information provided with your nomination form. Please be as detailed as possible and include information that distinguishes your nominee from other nominees. Deadline to nominate is September 20, 2017.
Additional material (Optional)
You may include supporting materials such as letters of recommendation, publications, media stories or tributes. Please limit additional materials to items that provide new information or insight into who the nominee is and the nature or impact of their contributions. Please do not send originals or important or official documents, as they may not be returned.

In addition, nominees should meet one of the following criteria:
Adult Nominee: An individual who is 19 years or older, who is making a positive difference in the lives of
Extraordinary Youth Nominee: Reserved for the recognition of a youth, age 18 or younger, who has
demonstrated an outstanding commitment to our community.
