Have you ever been interested in getting involved with the programs, services and future of Springettsbury Township? We are looking to fill a few vacancies on the following boards and commissions.
Zoning Hearing Board – The Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial board that hears requests for variances and special exceptions associated with the Township zoning ordinances. The Board also weighs in on staff zoning officer determinations. The chief responsibility of the Zoning Hearing Board is an appropriate enforcement of the zoning ordinances.
Historic Preservation Committee – The Historic Preservation Committee's primary responsibility is identifying cultural and historically significant resources within the Township. The committee oversees the development and management of the list of the top 100 historically significant properties located within the Township and identifies areas of cultural significance that bring prominence to residents of both the Township and York County.
All three of these are volunteer boards appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
