From time to time, you may notice new development activity around the Township and wonder what is going on there. Here you can check in to learn all about the latest developments in Springettsbury, both public and private. Projects will be posted here after they have been approved through the land development and building permit process.*
Project: Pleasant Trees
Location: Conifer Court
Description: This housing development was initially started in 2006, but has been dormant for a number of years leaving 14 lots undeveloped. The Township recently issued permits to construct five homes on Conifer Ct, and we expect the developer to build homes on the remaining undeveloped lots within the next couple of years.
Project Name: Triplet Springs/Springetts Retreat
Location: Pleasant Valley Road, behind Metso and York Christian Church
Description: The plan details the construction of six (6) streets, which will be offered for public dedication when finished. A total of 129 residential building lots, 4 common open space lots (130 through 133), 3 cul-de-sacs, one (1) traffic circle and an ingress/egress point proposed on Alcott Road. The development will be age-targeted, but, not age-restricted. In addition, a Home Owner's Association (HOA) will be created to manage common open space areas.
Project Name: Wyndham Pointe
Location: Corner of Pleasant Valley and Mt. Zion Road (SR 24)
Description: This project includes apartment units with a community center and commercial property space.
Stage 1 of this project consists of building a total of 80 apartment units and a community center across four buildings.
- Building A – 16 unit + Community Center
- Building B – 24 units
- Building C – 24 units
- Building D – 16 units
Stage 2 will consist of building out the commercial property. Some details including number of units have not yet been finalized.
