Pennsylvania is an integral part of the United States history and the founding of this nation.

America250PA hopes to engage citizens of the Commonwealth, from all 67 counties to bring the Commonwealth’s history into the conversation so Pennsylvanians can better understand the origins and multiple perspectives of issues facing our Commonwealth and nation, today. America250PA proposes to use history to encourage and inspire future leaders, celebrate the contributions of Pennsylvanians not only in the history of this Commonwealth, but also in our nation’s history.

America250PA will have numerous officially recognized programs, projects, and events over the next five years to inspire and celebrate Pennsylvania’s contribution to the United States throughout the past 250 years.

Springettsbury officially supports America250PA and its EPIC mission to Educate, Preserve, Innovate, and Celebrate the rich history and diversity of Pennsylvania.
