Historically Significant Sites

Recently, the committee completed a project to compile a listing of the most historically significant sites and structures in Springettsbury Township.  A classification system was developed to determine which places would be included on the list.  All those on the final listing of historically significant sites and structures were given a Class I designation. This means that they are listed on, or are eligible for, the National Register of Historic Places; or that they are of the greatest significance to the Township.  The listing will be under constant review for changes as new sites may be discovered and buildings age and become eligible for inclusion.
